SHERRY GARISH
a monster play
by Bill McCardell

--Divider--

A hilarious satire about the high school tragedy of a brilliant and talented drama major who is destroyed by classmates, administration and staff of an elitist "religious school" because of their prejudice against people with learning differences, showing how our educational system is teaching our society to espouse diversity while actually despising it.

Despite their excellent reputations, Friends' Schools can be a nightmare for brilliant and talented students. Paying a costly yearly tuition does not insure that the teachers are competent or that the administration is honest or humane. Calling themselves "Friends'" does not mean that they follow Quaker principles or that they have anything at all to do with The Society of Friends.
